Anna Guillard Sazhko is a distinguished multilingual independent arbitrator and counsel based in Paris. Over her 15-year career, Anna has garnered extensive experience in international arbitrations conducted under various rules, including ad hoc, ICC Arbitration, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), Istanbul Arbitration Centre / ISTAC, UNCITRAL and SCC rules. Her practice is particularly focused on Ukraine, Central Asia, and the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) regions, where she has successfully handled numerous high-stakes cases. Before establishing her practice, Anna sharpened her skills at leading international law firms in Paris and Kyiv.

Anna's expertise is enriched by her multicultural background and her deep understanding of various national legal systems, including English, French, Kazakh, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Uzbek laws. Her wealth of experience spans complex investment and commercial arbitration cases, providing her with a nuanced and a cross-border perspective.

In her capacity as an arbitrator, Anna has served as a sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, and presiding arbitrator in seven cases, with proceedings conducted in English and Russian.

Anna is an active contributor to the international arbitration community. She co-founded and serves as Co-President of the Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA), is a Board Member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA), a Member of the VIAC Legal Tech Think Tank, and a member of the Supervisory Board of the International Court of Arbitration CCI Kyrgyzstan.

From 2022 to 2024, Anna served as Vice-President of the ICC Ukraine | Міжнародна Торгова Палата України and the Vice-Chair of the Arbitration Commission of the ICC Ukraine. She has also been a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

Anna holds law degrees from the National University "Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine" (summa cum laude) and the University Panthéon-Sorbonne Law School. She also completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Program at Saïd Business School and University of Oxford. Fluent in French, English, Ukrainian, and Russian, Anna also has a basic knowledge of Turkish.

Recognized for her exceptional skills and contributions, Anna has been featured in Who's Who Legal’s Arbitration lists for 2021, 2022, and 2023 as a "Future Leader". In the WWL 2023 ranking, Anna was recognized among the 15 "Most Highly Regarded" individuals in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
